Skind
Skind is an app that let's you match with professionals all around the world to team up and create wonders. The matching algorithm works by taking your own skills into consideration from your profile and the inserted skills you're looking for, so that both parties could benefit greatly from the pairing up!
Brand Identity
The colors were chosen to help the user trust the app and feel calm during
the whole experience.
The logo, the lighting bolt, refers to how fast you are able to find a match and the spark you would feel while working with them.
The outline added to most elements give the app a look and feel of a "sketch-like" design in an attempt to mimic the sketching process the professionals go through while designing and working together at a first stage.
Note: the dimensions, OS, and mockups were based on the iPhone 8 since it was easier to accommodate to the phone I used to own :D
Features
You can:
1- Browse through the homepage, which would show you the top ranked professionals
at the moment.
2- Add a post for partnering up
3- Look for a specific professional, skill, or job position in the search engine.
4- Match with individuals based on input and the Tinder like swipe left/swipe right system.
5- Chat with matched partners, start a new project, give each other lists of things to improve, end projects, and view the past projects all in one place!
6- Edit your profile, view your number of matches, rating, and number of profile visits.
Last but not least, once you've reached the limit number of projects you're working on (which is 5 for now), an icon will pop up next to your profile image to show that you are busy. This would help in maintaining one's mental health at peace and regulate time and project management; otherwise, one could feel overwhelmed and face creative blocks!
